Terms of Service
The following provisions apply to the use of the Craftmark Signage website and, where applicable, the supply of signage products and related professional services.
Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing, browsing or using the Craftmark website, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
If you request a quotation, approve artwork, authorise fabrication, make a payment, issue a purchase order or otherwise engage Craftmark for a project, you also agree to the commercial terms communicated for that project.
Where a signed agreement, quotation, purchase order or project-specific contract contains terms that expressly differ from these website Terms & Conditions, the project-specific written terms will govern to the extent of the inconsistency.
Responsible Use of Our Website
The Craftmark website is provided to present information about our signage, LED sign board, fabrication, branding, installation and related services.
You agree not to use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or unauthorised purposes.
- You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or its systems.
- You must not introduce malicious code, harmful files or disruptive software.
- You must not copy, scrape, reproduce or commercially exploit website content without written permission.
- You must not use Craftmark branding, photography or project material in a way that suggests an unauthorised association or endorsement.
Signage & Fabrication Services
Craftmark may provide custom signage and branding solutions including LED sign boards, illuminated signs, channel letters, 3D letters, acrylic signage, stainless steel lettering, ACP signage, corporate signage, retail branding, reception signage, digital displays, wayfinding systems and other custom fabricated signage solutions.
The exact products, materials, dimensions, finishes, illumination specifications, installation requirements and deliverables will depend on the individual project and will be confirmed through the applicable quotation, approved artwork, specification, invoice or written scope of work.
Quotations, Estimates & Project Scope
Quotations provided by Craftmark are based on the information available at the time of preparation.
A quotation may be affected by changes to dimensions, materials, artwork, installation conditions, site access, structural requirements, electrical requirements, transportation, taxes, permissions or other project conditions.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a quotation does not constitute acceptance of an order. A project becomes confirmed when the applicable commercial requirements have been accepted by both parties.
Any change requested after quotation approval may result in additional charges, revised timelines or both.
Artwork, Branding & Client Approval
Customers are responsible for providing accurate logos, brand guidelines, text, colours, dimensions and other information required for production.
Where Craftmark provides artwork, mock-ups, layouts, visualisations or production drawings, the customer is responsible for carefully reviewing and approving the final version before fabrication.
- Spelling, measurements and brand information must be checked before approval.
- Once artwork has been approved for fabrication, changes may incur additional design, material or production costs.
- Craftmark is not responsible for customer-approved errors that were present in the final approved artwork.
- Customers confirm that they have the necessary rights to use logos, trademarks, images and other artwork supplied to Craftmark.
Custom Manufacturing & Materials
Craftmark signage products may involve acrylic, aluminium, stainless steel, ACP, PVC, vinyl, LED modules, electrical components, frames, mounting hardware and other materials selected for the project.
Because many signage products are individually fabricated, minor variations in colour, texture, finish, joins, illumination, material grain or physical appearance may occur and will not necessarily constitute a manufacturing defect.
Material availability may also affect fabrication schedules. Where a specified material becomes unavailable, Craftmark may recommend an alternative of comparable suitability, subject to customer approval where required.
Site Conditions & Installation
Where installation is included in a project, the customer is responsible for providing reasonable access to the site at the agreed time and ensuring that relevant permissions or landlord approvals have been obtained where required.
Installation may depend on structural surfaces, electrical supply, access, working height, weather conditions, building restrictions and other site circumstances.
- Additional work arising from concealed structural issues may be chargeable.
- Electrical infrastructure beyond the agreed scope may require separate arrangements.
- Delays caused by restricted access, unavailable premises or third-party contractors may affect the project schedule.
- The customer remains responsible for obtaining building, landlord, municipal or other permissions unless the quotation expressly states that Craftmark will obtain them.
Pricing, Payment & Taxes
Payment terms will be specified in the applicable quotation, invoice or project agreement.
Custom signage may require an advance payment before design finalisation, procurement or fabrication begins.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, production may not commence until the required payment or commercial approval has been received.
Applicable taxes, statutory charges, transportation, installation, electrical work, permissions or other third-party costs will be treated in accordance with the applicable quotation and prevailing requirements.
Product & Workmanship Warranty
Where a warranty is offered, the duration, scope and exclusions will be specified in the relevant quotation, invoice, warranty document or project agreement.
Unless otherwise specified in the relevant quotation, invoice, warranty document or project agreement, the following standard warranty periods may apply to the respective products:
- Power Supply: 18 Months Warranty
- LED Modules: 2 Years Warranty
- ACP (Aluminium Composite Panel): 10 Years Warranty
Warranty coverage may apply differently to fabrication, LED modules, power supplies, electrical components, installation and other third-party components.
The warranty periods stated above apply only to the specific products or components identified and are subject to the applicable warranty terms, conditions and exclusions. Where a project-specific warranty is provided, the terms stated in the relevant quotation, invoice, warranty document or project agreement will take precedence.
Warranty does not ordinarily extend to damage caused by misuse, vandalism, accidental impact, unauthorised alteration, electrical faults outside the supplied system, environmental damage, improper maintenance or circumstances outside Craftmark's reasonable control.
Customers should contact Craftmark promptly after identifying a suspected warranty issue and provide reasonable information, photographs or access necessary to assess the issue.
Intellectual Property & Brand Assets
Craftmark's website design, written content, graphics, photographs, illustrations, layouts, original concepts and other proprietary materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Customers retain ownership of their trademarks, logos, brand assets and materials supplied to Craftmark, subject to the rights necessary for Craftmark to perform the contracted services.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Craftmark retains ownership of its pre-existing design methods, templates, production techniques, technical knowledge and general creative processes.
Craftmark will not knowingly use a customer's confidential business information for purposes unrelated to the agreed services, subject to the terms of any separate confidentiality agreement.
Limitations & Responsibility
Craftmark will take reasonable care in providing its services and manufacturing products according to the approved project specifications.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Craftmark will not be responsible for losses arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control, including third-party delays, building restrictions, extreme weather, power failures, supply interruptions, government restrictions or other unforeseen events.
Craftmark's responsibility for a particular project will be determined by the applicable contract, quotation, warranty and mandatory legal requirements.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Applicable Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which the relevant Craftmark business entity operates, subject to any mandatory legal requirements.
Any dispute relating to the use of the website or the supply of services should, where reasonably possible, first be raised with Craftmark so that the parties may attempt to resolve the matter commercially.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the applicable courts or dispute resolution mechanism specified in the relevant project agreement shall apply.
Updates & Amendments
Craftmark may update these Terms & Conditions when necessary to reflect changes to its website, services, business practices or applicable requirements.
The latest version published on this website will identify the applicable effective date. Customers should review the Terms periodically when using the website or engaging with Craftmark.
Validity of Individual Provisions
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable, where legally permissible, without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
